Fr. Barron?

Michael Voris blasted stuff Fr. Barron said concerning hell in the most recent episode of The Vortex. Mr. Voris considers Fr. Barron part of “The Church of Nice.” I’m not going to post a link to the episode since it’s not appropriate for CAF, but is it safe to think that Mr. Voris was too rough on Fr. Barron in it?

Yes, I have very little respect for Mr Voris’ opinions and railings. There is a reason his Bishop made him remove the word Catholic from his organization.

He is the Catholic version of Alex Jones and Infowars in my opinion.

I don’t even need to see the video to answer, “Yes, he was too rough on Fr. Barron.”

Okay, so I cannot answer with 100% certainty without having watched the video, but I am very much opposed to the false dichotomy created by Voris between the “Church of Nice” and the “Real Catholics.” It paints a picture that suggests that kindness is weakness and brashness is true charity. Both of those implicit assertions are problematic (and untrue).
