Why is any of that important?

First, this is a discussion forum. Are you saying nobody should discuss anything unless approved by you?
Second, yes I do think people should understand the difference between a Pope’s opinion and an official Church position on a subject or a teaching.

Its weird. Father Bruse has just been reassigned from St. Francis. I attended that church for several years and never knew of this until after he left. He was actually kind of boring.
