Greetings all, I saw a portion of Fr Corapi speak on EWTN and looked on his website for his videos. I found that these tapes are quite expensive and was wondering if a) anyone had seen these and b) if they are worth the expense. Thank you. PAX

Definitely!! Wait until he puts some on sale. He does send emails notify terrific sales. This man has been through alot and we will probably see him canonize someday.
 
Thank you. This will definitely wet my appetite. I agree that his life story is very amazing. I was astounded not when I saw that God transformed his life from addiction but that he was ordained a priest by Blessed John Paul II. PAX
 
The quality of all the DVDs and CDs are beond imagining. Excellent quality! It would just match the quality of he himself. Go on his website and he has a sale now…you will receive the news from them.

I have seen him 5 times at conferences (different places in the US)…I do not regret it at all. I feel so blessed to be in his presence. His presence encompasses you…
 
Youtube had great clips from Fr. Corapi & many other great Catholic apologists !
John Martignoni is aso a great apologist and
has great CD’s and MP3 resources for FREE
 
My friends and I used to call ourselves “Corapaholics!” We would drive even a couple hundred miles to see him!! I have some great stories!! Definitely a bit spendy, but the knowledge you would gain is worth it!!
 
I would agree with Shoshana. The quality of the videos is definitely worth the price. Keep in mind that the videos are what Father uses to support himself. Also, I would point out that the videos aren’t generally as expensive as they might seem at first. Most of the time (there are exceptions) if you divide out the cost by the number of talks, it works out to be about $10/talk. While that might seem a bit high, pretty much any movie you go buy is going to be $20, which is ~$10/hour or effectively the same as Fr. Corapi is charging. I’m sure we’d all like them to be a bit cheaper, but when it comes to supporting a ministry as wonderful as Fr. Corapi’s, I for one don’t mind the additional expence.

type his name in youtube…theres probably tons of videos of him on there that you can watch for free

Yeah maybe but he is very unfriendly and got real angry when I emailed his office as to where is all this money going? I mean really I understand operatiing costs but the DVDs are not pressed ones they are burned ones with nice lables. pressing is much more costly I feel he has a real ego problem and that he feels he is worth the high costs. ON the flip side his message is awesome and his deilvery is as well though i find that some of his “miracles” Are a little far fetched I mean really learning Spanish in one evening give me a break He is a great bullsmith!!! but I do love watching him. Just can’t afford him. Don’t email him asking where the money goes!!! trust me.
 
yes the set on the catechism is one of the best investments we ever made, but would like to get the DVDs since they will be easier to use, so the next donation we receive will go toward this

my brother was at one time involved in production of his A/V materials (also in those early ones of Fr Hardon when they first went on mp3) and now works in that area for other Christian presenters, and assures me that for the production quality and content they are not at all overpriced. since he is the professional I will take his word for it. They are certainly priced far below boxed sets of similar content and style I have seen from evangelical publishers (and I see a lot).

I could not justify the cost for personal use, but we do have parishioners who have purchased them for their families. but we use them in so many ways it is well worth the cost to the parish.
 
If you have a DVR, set it to record all of his talks on EWTN. I have 77 hours recorded. Some are duplicates, and I have not watched them all. In fact, that would be a good Lenten project for me to go through and delete all the duplicates. Thanks for the post and the idea for Lent.🙂

Another person to see via youtube is Archbishop Fulton Sheen. Talk about the power of Corapi… His Eminence is Fr. Corapi x 1,000,000% and Fr. Corapi is no slouch.
 
Another great one is Peter Kreeft. I love his books too. Mother Angelica is another favorite of mine. What do you guys think of Father Michael Manning?

I don’t care for him, from the few times I’ve seen him. He seems very “shallow”.
 
I have some Fr. Corapi audio CDs. Among them are 4 CDs from his “Surrender is Not an Option!” lectures he gave in Boston. They’re fantastic. I can probably send them to you electronically through email or something somehow.

Well, where is the money going? He should be pretty up front about that. I guess priests don’t take a vow of poverty, though.

Chris, The website was working when i checked it but it appears that it was hacked by someone. Not sure if they are going to fix the problem.
