I like Fr. Scalia’s talks and this one is another that is well done. I noticed there were 263 views of this thread. I hope people watched the video because he does explain Catholic teaching well and clears up misconceptions about Catholic teaching on same sex attraction. Also his beginning and ending certainly put the root of the problem into perspective.

I like Fr. Scalia’s plain, straightforward talk, notably the part around 12:00 into the clip where he explained how the use of each organ or system in someone’s body can be gleaned and studied within said body, but it is only the sexual organ the use of which is explained with the sexual organ of someone of the opposite sex. Even the non-religious and non-believer understands this self evident design of the body.

Likewise, he referenced the reverence our society rightfully holds for women, for having a womb, the place where an embryo is ensouled by God. God continues His creation only with humans with creating of the soul, with the man and woman as co-creators or co-actors.

Our society is known to act sensibly, or at least we can say we used to. Like when a ship is sinking, women and children are first let off, directed to safety, with men staying behind.
