Does anyone else listen to Fr. Roderick’s podcasts or any of the others over at SQPN? I really enjoy his shows and I haven’t seen anyone at Catholic Answers mention him before. I thought you might like to know what you are missing! 🙂

Here’s his website: sqpn.com/

Yes, I don’t miss an episode. I also like the Rosary Army and Saintcast. SQPN is fantastic.

If you can assure me he doesn’t dissent I’d be more then happy to subscribe to his podcasts. Currently I listen to Catholic answers and Cardinal Arinze on podcast.

Podcasting is the way to go in Long Island, NY where Catholic radio can’t seem to reach us.

I have never ever heard him dissent from any Church teaching. I’ve only ever heard him defend the church when its time to.

Rosary Army was featured on EWTN’s Life on the Rock, and so was Fr. Roderick. Fr. Roderick’s segment did not air because it got pre-empted due to one of their favorite guest’s World Series victory…🙂

The only thing I can think of that some people might have a problem with is his series on Harry Potter and other secular things. He puts up podcasts looking into their Christian symbolism. I know some Catholics don’t like Harry Potter because they feel it encourages witch craft, black magic, and the like. But honestly if he was dissenting all over the place I wouldn’t listen. I think he’s safe to listen to, IMHO.

No, he doesn’t dissent. I’m very sensitive to that and wouldn’t tolerate someone like that. Click on the link on post #2 to see his videos at YouTube and get an idea of what he’s like. Like I said, his shows are more than just Catholic theology. For instance, here’s a link to his video documenting the day he go his Wii game system: youtube.com/watch?v=eI0JtIOMIMMI I hope you’ll enjoy his work as much as I have.
