Fr. Vincent Serpa's response to the Scientology question

While Fr. Vincent is correct in that Scientology identifies itself as a church I found his answer to be incomplete. I think those of you who would like more information would be interested in this site: xenu.net/ which contains a goldmine of information. If any of you want more information from other sites just let me know.

Also according to this site: saints.sqpn.com/saintc80.htm Christina Mirabilis is said to watch over psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. I think that is very interesting because it show that Catholics care more about people with mental illness than Scientologists do since they are very against psychiatry.
 
I love Operation Clambake.

30 plus years ago, at a Home Show, I inadvertently picked up some scientology material and somehow got on their mailing list. Every week since then I get some kind of mailing from the COS. The USPS has got to love them.
 
Scientology is a cult. NONE of Hubbards ideas are accepted in science or have any merit. I’m not trying to be mean, but hubbard was a real lunatic.

Here is an intresting bio of Hubbard. In it, he gets mad at a boy and locks him up for two days in a closet according to a witness. He was a very evil man. I wish they would make a movie out of this bio. It would make 100 million dollars with out a doubt.

And to dodge the AMA, since the “tech” doesn’t work. I read some stuff by ex-Scientologists who are relatively at peace with the organization as ex-Scientologists go, and they discussed the degree to which they still believe in the “tech”. One was saying how the most advanced members, who had poured their time, money, property, energy and all their freedom intot he system for many years had finaly gained the power to kill insects with their minds. I’d rather go to a second-hand store and buy a $0.45 flypaper roll.:rolleyes:
 
Thanks for the links. If you were to ask me what person or people I dislike the most in this planet, it would be dictators and those who think and act like them. Hubbard fits the bill.
