Has anyone ever tried the wild flower honey from Franciscan Missions, Inc? We just received our honey today and it’s yummy! I highly recommend it. You can go to their website at www.franciscanmissions.org .

Is it okay to post this? I don’t mean to advertise for them or anything. Just wanted to share.
 
Hey, wow! Thanks! Why have I never heard of religious making/selling products to support themselves/for the poor before? I have lived a sheltered life.

Abbeys and convents have been making stuff, esp. foodstuffs, for centuries, to either support themselves or support others. It’s where we get some of the best wines in the world, along with some of the best liqueurs. Chartruese, Frangelico? All originally abbey recipes.
