It seems like this would be a separation from the group in Peoria. I wonder why.

Historically men’s orders in the US would establish a foundation in another city which would eventually become a separate province, but most women’s orders would spin off a separate religious order in a new city. (Of course, with no new vocations, the now liberal convents are merging nationally).
