I, for one, would like to know what they say. I cannot afford cable and haven’t seen EWTN in about 15 years :crying: They tell me you can stream it on the internet, but I have dial-up and it isn’t worth the incredible frustration of waiting for it to load.

I have spread the word to my Bible study friends and hope that the program gives some serious debate and challenges the Church to address the issue. Thanks for the head’s up.

There is much information I can share…I will condense at this point and hope that other viewers who watched this special presentation jump in. The presentation has multiple air times…please check your t.v. schedule.

Just as you might have imagined…the reasons for this gap…
Vatican II and the sexual revolution - combined with a great burst of new scientific sexual information confused many. This blend put sexual moral theology on the skids for many. The presentation explained this in more detail. Essentially…many Catholics have received poor Catechesis because of the confusion.

and what the Church is doing to overcome that gap??

Starting with Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body a moral renewal in the Church is underway. Better instruction from priests is necessary. Better Catechesis for all is essential.
Dr. John Grabowski’s new book Sex and Virtue was also discussed. It is a sound basis of instruction which brings natural law and Biblical revelation together.

One thing I missed hearing in this presentation is how extensive the damage is from the lack of solid moral theology over the past thirty or so years. Only once ( I think) they mentioned one particular thing ( hooking up). I suppose that ( hooking up ) alone is a good indication of how perverse people are these days. It was an hour long show which spent more time with emphasis on what should and can be accomplished rather than the sordid way so many Catholics live today.
 
Keep us updated on this talk…I will probably not be able to watch EWTN at the designated times, but would like to know what is discussed. You have scheduled some very good speakers.
