Yes, but I would suggest you to read it instead, because most audio bibles are King James Version, not catholic bible.

Here’s several parts of the catholic bibles:
catalog.librivox.org/search.php?reader=&mc=&bc=&cat=&genre=&language=&type=&author=&title=bible&status=all&reader_exact=&mc_exact=&bc_exact=&date=&group=&engroup=&ingroup=&ingroup=10

Catholic Bibles are Douay Rheims, New Jerusalem bible, New American Bible, Jerusalem Bible
You can get it for free here:

NSRV is not a catholic bible. 🙂

Try douay rheims bible instead

Actually, NRSV is a Catholic Bible. The only differences between Catholic and Protestant editions of the NRSV are inconsequential when dealing with an audio edition (since footnotes are not read).

Also, More Love Radio is a ministry of Holy Spirit Interactive (a Catholic apostolate). I do not think it likely that a Catholic ministry will be directly hosting a non-Catholic audio Bible when a Catholic one is available.

mariafransisca, I know this isn`t any of my business but have you contacted any Religious orders, congregations, or communities

God bless you on your journey,

Oh, hi, goforgoal 🙂

I have thought about it, but haven’t done anything.

Because in my country, Indonesia, there are limited contemplative monasteries (around 15), and it is all over the country, meaning, they are far from where I live.

I have thought of going to Europe and be a nun there, but I’m 21, so, I guess I better wait till I am more mature to travel on my own.

Besides I still have to learn the language of the country I wish to go to. I am thinking like Italian, french.

Sadly tho, this country now have a high rate of atheism. Around 15-20%, they used to be catholics. So I’m kind of afraid to go there, because my priest told me that it can destroy your faith. If you go to germany, for example. But germany used to be 90% catholics. It’s horrifying. At present, Indonesia, the country where I live is an 80% moslem country. But they are good gentle, modest people, sometimes even more charitable than the catholics.

Thank you for your support. I really appreciate it.

I also have thought of going to the States to be a nun, but since I am still young, let’s see about that. Maybe in a year or so? who knows?

For now, I like being a laypeople serving and loving Jesus according to my state in life, as a single person for Christ. Spreading God’s love wherever I go 🙂

People respond to that. I pray for the conversion of sinners, perserverance of the Just and relief for souls in purgatory.

You should try that, it is practiced by St. Anthony Mary Claret

How St. Anthony Mary Claret prayed:

It will change your life!

I would suggest, yes, you should read the ebooks on your thread. Download them so that you can read them offline. Such as the Imitation of Christ, St. John of the Cross’ spiritual canticle, they are great! I have read the Imitation of Christ and have heard sermons on Spiritual Canticle, they aflame me with the love of God.

Ccel.org is one of my favorite site. I just pick the catholic saints books and ignore the rest. I register and download the pdf form on my computer. You can re-register to download more. :o

mariafransica-God bless you and be with you.

Which country are you referring to that has a high percentage of atheism?

That’s a bit strange and alarming that a Priest would recommend something like that…For me I would want to go to Pray for their conversion and for their souls.

By the way, where do you get the %'s from? I know in some of your other previous threads you recommended them as well.

Yes, I have already read “The Imitation of Christ” and many of the other books you recommended but thank you and God bless you once again for the many websites you recommended.
