I would like to be so sure of my moral judgments. It would make voting so much easier. In the upcoming election in Oregon, which way should I vote?

Reluctantly putting on my Prophet hat… :getholy: – :highprayer:

If I turn to the left and vote liberal I lose my job. If I turn to the right and vote conservative, I lose my car. I have to use my car to get to my job and I use my job to pay for my car. Which way should I turn?

You have proposed that I look at these three chess pieces and tell you how to win the game. As an American, the goal of your opponent is to capture your king. In your case, your king is your will.

Life is really only about asking a question, one question in particular, “What is the true state of my situation?” From learning that, you can then know what direction to turn, what vote to cast. In that pursuit, you have asked that same question except you focus, as all do, on only such a small part of the situation and expect an “always best” answer.

Oregon is in that situation of being converted from the older free days to the newer social control days. In the tomorrow of America (and the world), there is no free will in any sense of the word. People will vote in the direction they are programmed to vote and if they don’t, they will no longer be able to vote. It won’t really matter whether your will was ever free.

At a certain point in a chess game, there is no winning for you (that cause-effect thing). But to know at what point that is, you have to examine the entire situation of the board. You have to ask the one question of life, “What is my true situation?” from which you can then [freely] choose what direction to turn.

When playing chess, regardless of past sins and the sins of others, if you find yourself facing a no win situation for one of your pieces, you must examine the rest of the board to see what your opponent will lose in his situation by taking your piece and pursuing your king. Every move your opponent makes closes doors for him just as it does for you.

So your real question is “How do I find out what my real situation is?”

Well, you know to at least ask someone, not that such will necessarily help, but seldom hurts. But what if you were to have a much greater network of friends to ask? What if you even had a means to process such networked information, you could accurately “see” your real situation and thus know what direction to turn?

So now, your real situation seems to be one of, “How can I establish a network and a means to understand what I receive?”

But of course, your situation is one where you must vote on a direction right away. You don’t have time to do it right and not presume from a small vision of the board. Timing has brought to you the temptation to presume, the very sin that causes each and every error. You are now faced with asking;

“Which error should I make today so as to give me time to do better tomorrow?”

The answer to that one is easy, “The error (sin) that least removes your free-will, your free choices that you will need to make tomorrows decisions.”

But is that to the right or to the left? You never really know until you have learned of your true situation and have that network and process with which to understand.

Since your concern is to NOT lose what little freedom you have left, the vote that represents the most conserving plan would be worth considering. But also your immediate task is to begin to establish a network and an understanding for sake of the next vote, thus the vote that would most quickly liberate you to acquire such a network of friends would be worth consideration.

But in the midst of SO many lies and liars, which is really which? Again, without that network and understanding, how could you know? How could you trust the information from any network anyway? So now it’s,

“How do I gain trustful information and understanding?”

Within what do you place your trust, your faith? If only yourself, then you have your network and ability to understand to the degree that network can provide. But if that was good enough, you wouldn’t have asked the question.

“How do you establish trust in a network of friends?”
“How would your friends be certain that they could trust you?”

But then trust is an issue of limiting free-will. If one can be trusted that means that they will certainly do this or certainly not do that. There is a boundary between certainty, trustability, and free-will. What free-will, free choices and liberties, will you give up to gain trusted friends?

There is only one way to win the game. The only way to win is to give up all else for the goal, the goal of learning your true situation. You must give up all else to that network that will provide the most awareness and understanding. Live for that network. Love that network so much that you are merely a gift to it, a gift that it cherishes so much as a part of it that it ensures that you gain what it promises… Because you are a part of it.

Love it because of what it is, because what it is yields your only hope, the hope of being aware of and understanding your situation. Love it because it demonstrates why to love it. Give to it all that you are so that it will be free to give you what you need, awareness of how to vote, what direction to turn. Love it because it sets you free to be aware and understand why you do what you do. Love it because of the Truth it yields, the Truth that sets you free to always seek and obtain, to always attempt and accomplish, to be free of error in which way to turn, because it is of God.

Until you and others do that, there is no winning. Until that is done, you will vote as you are deceived into voting and what I say will make no difference. There will be no winning. It isn’t your game and it doesn’t obey your rules. You are just a pawn.

But who’s pawn will you choose to be?

You can’t win someone else’s game. You can’t win if you don’t play Right. And you can’t win if you don’t play.

There is a reason for a Church. 😉
