i have bad addictions to erotic cartoons and masturbation. Please pray that I can be free from these sins and that I can overcome my pride and talk to my priest and parents about this.

SacredHeartFan, Iām sorry for what you are going through now. I was once addicted to porn but since praying the Rosary as often as I can, I dare say that our Mother Mary has kept her promises and one of them being:.
The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies.
This promise, along with the next, is simply the reminder on how fervent prayer will help us all grow in holiness by avoiding sin, especially a prayer with the excellence of the Rosary. An increase in holiness necessarily requires a reduction in sin, vice, and doctrinal errors (heresies). If only the Modernists could be convinced to pray the Rosary!
I strongly suggest praying the Rosary everyday, preferably with some meditation beforehand.
God Bless.

i am in the same boat with u there as well iāve been trying to rid myself of it for months but i just dont have any willpower, thanks for someone having the courage to publicly ask how to deal with these kinds of addictions, most of this will go away as we teens mature like around 17 or 18 we should have most of these things under control and not feel the need to well ātouch and goā that certain part of the body all the time as most young teens do i will pray for you i also heard st dominic savio has something for the chastity of young men

Lord Jesus,You said,
āI have come to set the captives free.ā
We are captive and need Your healing touch.
Free us, Lord, from our addictions,
so that we will be:
ā¦free from the cares and worries that stifle our happiness;
ā¦free from sins that cling to us, and to which we cling;
ā¦free from all compulsive behavior
that prevents us from becoming what You, Lord,
have planned for us.
Bring us, loving Savior,
to the experience of abundant life
which You promised.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Lord, help this person meet with a good, holy priest in the confessional to get absolved of these sins and get some help from his addiction. May he just go and get some help without being fearful and stressed. Jesus will be talking to him in the confessional and will give him the direction he needs to change his life. May he obey readily and live a new life in Jesus from then on, striving to avoid all bad and harmful occasions of sin. May he turn his life around by starting to go to daily Mass and adoration and by devoting a certain amount of time every day to pray and converse with the Lord. Heāll be able to drive out the demon of lust by filling his life with the love of Christ and nothing else. May he reorder his days around Jesus and not idle things. May he have a special devotion to the Blessed Mary and pray 3 Hail Maryās every day for the virtue of purity in honor of her purity. Amen.
