There is a new show produced by Disney on Freeform this summer called Dead of Summer. It is a horror show that takes place at a summer camp. The show is from the creators of Once Upon a Time. Dead of Summer looked somewhat interesting to me because my favorite actress, Elizabeth Lail from Once Upon a Time, is in it. She plays a main character named Amy. I looked into the show and I determined it was Satanic. The show deals with paranormal events. These events appear to come from demonic sources. Amy and the rest of the camp counselors use an Ouija board in the most recent episode and Amy gets possessed. The counselors do not seek help from God in the show. Christianity appears to be completely absent. The show seems to suggest that using an Ouija board is okay. The show also features a gay character named Blair and a possibly transgender character named Drew. We Christians know that is not okay. This show promotes values that go against God. I want to know what the other Christians here think of this show.

From what you described it sounds awful. I pray that it will not arouse the curiosity of the ignorant, or weaken the faith of believers who plan to watch it.

Why am I not surprised by Disney! Trying to push the gay and transgender agenda on children. Anything to do with Disney is evil…that’s all I’ll say on the subject.

That is quite true. The creators of this show may be intending to use the show to weaken faith.

We should not promote the works of the devil. It is interesting that someone who was raised Christian like Elizabeth Lail appears in such a show doing Satanic things. Her Christian father even supports her being in the show.

From your description it sounds absolutely dreadful. I would certainly discourage anyone from watching it. The kind of activity you describe in the show is very dangerous and should not be taken lightly by any means.
