Friar Alessandro will be on for an entire half hour singing from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM. I hope it’s not too late to let everyone know.

Well, unfortunately, it was not all music, but more of a documentary. Those who are interested may set their DVR’s for 2:30 am when it will be repeated.

This man absolutely exudes holiness. A one star rating says more about the person that posted it than it does about the good friar.

I saw it before and I was disappointed. I was hoping for him to be singing more than not.

I missed most of this show when it was on before – I think a week or two ago. (I think it was the same show???). It will be on again at 1:30 am CENTRAL TIME. Personally, I’m staying up late to watch it, as I have a DVD player/recorder, but do not have any blank DVD’s at all to record it. I really need to get a few, and learn how to record on a DVD. I was accustomed to tapes, and used to record such shows, and occasionally a movie. I had “Jesus of Nazareth” on a set of tapes for years, then finally bought a boxed DVD set with the entire movie on it.

Now I’ll have to read the directions, purchase a few blank DVD’s and practice recording them! Missed the one tonight earlier, as it was on at 6:30 pm CT here.

Judy, Direct-TV has a DVR receiver that records anything, any time. I wouldn’t be without mine, and I just got it before Christmas, at a cost of $10 extra per month. Many times, I want to view two programs that are on simultaneously, so I just record one of them and watch it later at my convenience. Do you have a satellite dish? Lots of things are on in the wee hours of the night and they can be set to record with just a button click. Not like the old days of trying to program a VCR (sigh) and needing a blank tape. DVR’s have almost infinite memory.

I need to clarify this. The poster returned and changed his rating to a 5. Yeah, I didn’t know we could do that either. 😛 As long as we do not try to initiate another rating of the same value, but change it to a new one, the software takes it. This is handy in a long thread where we may sometimes change our rating as the subject progresses and we find it to be more favorable, or more objectionable.

What probably happened is that the poster wrongly assumed that 1 was the “highest rating” and 5 was the worst. So when s/he realized the error, it was changed to a 5.

I couldn’t figure out how this happened at first, since the vote count remained the same.
