Ah…! Help?!

Tonight I’m going to the school prom with a friend of mine. She’s from a Catholic family who doesn’t attend Mass (I don’t think she ever has). They all frequent an Episcopalian Church, my old High Anglican Church.
Their source of income is organ-playing at said church which is now falling apart. Her grandmother who plays there once attempted to play at the liberal Catholic parish but was unable to due to the guitar.

My friend has only gone to Episcopal Churches, though she may have been baptized Catholic (Her grandmother refers to herself as Catholic). She has acolyted (served as an ‘altar server’) their for many years.

Now she has been going to a local Pentecostal Church which she loves, and got ‘saved’ their. I think she likes the emotionalism. I don’t really know what to do, her family and I are concerned. We hope to take her to Mass at our very orthodox parish sometime, but I don’t think it would attract her. (due to the not liking the episcopal services, which look like a Mass)

Any help?

I wouldn’t bother her about where she worships right now or she will be more apt to want to go there. However, if she brings up about where you go to church than use that time to dialogue with her about why you attend the church you do.

True. It’s just we’re worried she’s going to be smacked with all this bad theology. I’m not even sure if they believe in the trinity or have valid baptisms. 😦

If they brought out some snakes then I would worry.
As for bad theology, it depends on how strongly you feel about it, but I can bet if you bring it up, bad theology and error, she will be more apt to run right into that church.
Sorry to say, it’s like someone who picked a bad boyfriend, if you say something about it, they are more apt to want the bad boyfriend.
