Friend Game #2

In December, on my account ‘ChristianKnight’ I made a game for helping people become more friendly, and maybe knowledgeable with others of other denominations, here is the second round, get ready, and I will not be doing the RCC, since I did them in the first round, I will be doing…hmmm…I guess I will do Islam.

Ok, this is how the game works.

You have to say 5 things good about a different religion/denomination (yes RCC counts as a denomination) So for example:

If your Catholic you say 5 good things about a different religion/denomination, do not say 5 good things about your religion/denomination, cause that takes the point away, so please don’t.

I hope this helps improve relations on here, and its fun. I’ll start:

5 Good things about Islam

1. Devotion (They can train their children to go through Ramadan fasting)
2. Respect (Many of them are very respectful of others)
3. Science (Many great discoveries have been made by Muslim Scolars)
4. Saladin (He is one of my top 5 military favorites, and he was a great strategist)
5. Orange (Orange trees were first planted in Southern Europe by Muslim soldiers, and I love my Orange Juice)

1. They are the first Christian Church (meaning: they’ve lasted this long).
2. Catholicism is where great poets, musicians, and writers are made.
3. Catholics are proud makers of Gothic Cathedrals.
4. Catholicism has influenced the Gothic subculture. :yup:
5. Admittedly, they make great Agnostics (and I’m one of 'em ; this ties in with #2)

I have been reading your post for a while now and you are very smart as you can tell from your post. But you are very condescending and full of yourself. Many 18-19 old’s feel that way, but the funny thing is time and experince has a way of changing that.

When you have out grown your little Goth/EMO subculture thing you may feel different, and then maybe not. I know many wanabes in there 30’s and 40’s still trying to rebel and be cool.

Five good things about Mainline Protestantism:

1. Many worked very hard to end slavery.
2. And to reform prisons.
3. And to build schools for poor children to keep them off the streets.
4. Many good scientists, philosophers and scholars in a wide range of subjects coem from such denominations.
5. They have a reputation for thrift and practicality.
