Friend is getting an abortion

a distant friend (overseas) is pregnant and has her mind set on an abortion and she isn’t planning on telling her partner at all. Don’t really know how to handle this as we aren’t that close and she’s getting defensive about it, so I could use some help with prayers. She doesn’t seem to need financial help, she just doesn’t want children or to go through a pregnancy.
 
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.
Amen….
 
Christ Jesus, heal Lea101’s friend’s heart and fill her soul with your love that she may see her baby for what it is: a gift from you, Lord God. Open her eyes, we pray, as You did to the blind during Your ministries here on Earth. Make her see the love and beauty she has now in front of her.

If you believe she has her heart set on going through with the abortion, I believe you should show bold love to her. Not to alienate, not to accuse, but also show the truth of the pain and suffering that this causes and the great love that awaits as an alternative. May God guide you in your effort to help.

For parents who have lost a child to abortion
and whose hearts are closed to the mercy of God,
that they might know the grace of repentance,
confession and the healing embrace of the Father;
we pray to the Lord:

For parents overwhelmed by grief and remorse
at the loss of their child to abortion,
that Jesus the shepherd,
so rich in mercy and compassion,
might heal their broken hearts;
we pray to the Lord:

For all who counsel the parents of aborted children,
that God might reward them for the crosses they bear
and grant them the words of wisdom to lead lost souls home to him,
we pray to the Lord:

For each child aborted from his mother’s womb,
that from their place in heaven
they might intercede for their mothers and fathers
for peace and healing and the gift of true repentance;
we pray to the Lord:

Thus says the LORD:

she refuses to be consoled

Holy Spirit, please come upon Lea1O1 and give her words to convince herfriend not to do this.

If her friend is Catholic convince the friend to tell her mom.

She will be blessing a childless couple with a BABY. it takes alot of love and sacrifice from a birthmom to do this, an adoption plan,but God Almighty will take notice.

It is so sad. I know you are trying Lea.

LORD Jesus please guide your daughter so that she does not do abortion. Guide her and correct her so that she understands her mistake.

I pray that your friend does not go through with the evil act and that she will give birth to a healthy baby. I pray for all mothers who are considering abortion, that they may see that the child that they are carrying is made in the image of God. I pray that God dispels all fear and selfishness and gives them true womanly hearts to care for their babies. In Jesus’ most Holy name I pray, Amen.

We implore Your intercession for
every child at risk of abortion. Help
expectant parents to welcome from

Update: she got the abortion. Said that it was easy and that she’s happy to get rid of it. Don’t know how she’s truly feeling about it but I’m hoping for some sort of conversion, even if it’s slow.
