Friend is goingto summer school, not to despair

my friend has informde me he is going to have to attend summer school. when i talk to him now he is always very sad. i told him to keep his chin up, but i can see how terrible he must feel (he was supposed to see his girlfriend in s carolina and then his dad in florida) please help me pray for him that he may not be over taken by despair and that maybe through all of this he will find some good in christ.
