Friend is thinking about Catholicism

Hey y’all.
My friend came to mass with me this past Sunday. He never really had a faithful upbringing, but was taught to believe in God and Jesus and what not. Anywho, while on our way to mass he was asking questions and was doing so during mass and felt the holy spirit so much where he was crying! We’ve been having conversations about the faith and is really enjoying it! He knows I went through the RCIA process, so he feels like he can ask questions and has been doing so. He is planning on contacting my parish to join RCIA this year. But my question is does anyone has a good read on the faith for him? Also, if you could pray for him, he’d love that.

I’d say he should just read the Catholic New Testament to start and then the Catechism.
I’ll pray for him.

If he’s looking for books more specific to the Catholic faith and what we believe, I’d highly suggest these books: The Faith of Our Fathers and This Is the Faith, Which is more thorough and gives great information on what the Church teaches and what we believe as Catholics.
