From where did reason come?

Scientists and all mature humans recognize with our ability to reason our reasonableness.

Also we recognize the reasonableness of the world and universe.

From where did our ability to reason come?

From where did reason in the world and the universe come?

In advance, I want to thank you for your helpful ideas.
 
Our capacity for reason is a result of our rational souls, the souls which God gave us.

You would not say that an animal is capable of true reason. They are capable of following instinct, and do not make distinctions between right and wrong. As Catholics, we also believe that they are lacking a rational soul, one which is capable of knowing God. (Incidentally, this is also a defense against people who say that homosexuality happens in nature so it can’t be wrong; animals are not bound by the moral laws that we, as people with rational souls capable of knowing right and wrong, are bound by, so saying it happens in nature is equivalent to saying that foxes have red coats; a worthless observation)

Our rational souls imbued us with free wills and the capacity for choice. With the ability to chose came the need to distinguish between right and wrong. As a result, we were given the ability to reason so that we may reach the proper conclusions about the morality of our actions. Despite what anyone may tell you in our relativistic age, if a person truly sits down and applies reason to a problem, void of their predefined prejudices and notions, everyone would reach the same conclusion about issues of morality. This is a result of the objective truths the exists in the universe that which we are all called to live by.

Reason cannot be defined as the ability of doing things in a certain way but by doing them in a way that is unique to oneself as a thing that can be judged by certain parameters of morality and good and bad.
So i believe that this existence that is unique to a person comes from the nature of creation of
human being by God whereby our soul is unique thus will be our reasons

Reason and will are the primary principles of man’s soul which is the form of man’s human nature. Existence comes to the matter of the body from the soul created and informed to it by God. So ultimately reason and will both come from God. The soul not only gives man the power to reason and will but it activates the mind to remember and imagine and the senses to perceive and directs all man’s bodily systems and functions to engage and order themselves to nourishment, growth, reproduction, well being, etc.

Well its a big question and certainly any thought worth its salt would not assume the God as a given, the question is asking about in the first place.
 
I actually listened to a Fulton Sheen talk today which hinted at an answer to this question. He said that the Father generates the Son much in the same way that a mind generates thoughts. So, perhaps we should say that reason comes from the mind not the soul, although the mind’s existence is dependent upon the souls. But the Trinity analogy also explains from whence the reasonableness we perceive in the universe comes. God the Son is properly called “the Word” and Scripture teaches that everything exists through Him. So by virtue of being the instrument of creation, God imbues the very reasonableness of the Word into the universe.
 
I phrase my question poorly.

Science sees the laws of nature. I called those laws reason.

We see the reason in the laws of nature.

From where did the reason of the laws of nature and our ability to reason come?

Again, it is poorly stated, but I do not have any time now.

From where did all of the physical laws come?
 
Existence is simply a manifestation of consciousness, specifically God’s. Hence order and reason may simply be in the nature of God.
