For those who missed the dedication to the Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton last week on EWTN, here is a link to watch a replay of it on Gloria TV.

I wish I could’ve made it down to the seminary in person, but it was still nice watching it on TV to get all the commentary to go with it. Enjoy!

Thank you.I see you’re in Omaha.I grew up there.Have you attended the EF at I.C.C?May our Lord be with you,Rocky.

Yeah, ICC is my family’s parish. I was brought in to the Catholic Church back in 1996 by an FSSP priest at St. Patrick’s before we got our own parish in ICC. How long ago did you move out of Omaha?

thank you. beautifull. i wonder what would take for the FSSP to come to my home town and open a Church like that here. people here are hungry for Spiritual food from the Tradtional Church.

I moved here in 1994, and Omaha has changed considerably since even then. Funny you mention St. Ann’s because that was supposed to be the parish where the FSSP was going to move. We even had it mapped out on how St. Ann’s was going to look and the District Superior for the FSSP came down to explain the move to all of us. Then, by God’s blessings and a little help from St. Patrick’s pastor and the archbishop, we were able to get ICC as our home parish, which is much more beautiful and in a less dangerous neighborhood. If you’re ever in town to visit your sister, you’ll have to stop by and look me up.

If you can get enough support from other parishoners in your area, I’m sure the FSSP would definitely consider coming to your area. It seems as if that hunger for the Tridentine Mass is growing throughout the country. God bless Pope Benedict for his support of the EF!

that would be a great blessings. i just dont know how to get in touch wiht all the people. i dont have any idea how to go about doing that without causing some kind of opposition from the liberals who want the Church to be what they want.

Yes, that could be a daunting task. Living in Omaha has been so much of a blessing and I think we sometimes take it for granted that we have so many outlets for the EF here. The only suggestion I can think of would be to use message boards such as these to get the word out and let them know where you live and see if there are other likeminded individuals in your area (fisheaters.com is also a good Trad forum). If there are some good conservative NO parishes in your area (we have some good ones here), you can test the waters by just seeing if anyone there has any interest in the Traditional Mass. Good luck in your quest for the EF, and if all else fails, just come to Omaha! 🙂
