how does peer pressure factor into Full Consent of the Will? Literally taken, it would seem peer pressure to do something would diminish the will of a person, but on the other hand, failure to stand up to peer pressure and failure to do what one knows is right, is wrong. I’m talking just regular peer pressure here, not hold a gun to your head type peer pressure, because I know that would certainly diminish the will of the person.

I think each person must thoroughly examine each situation to decide this. If you are honest with yourself, you will know whether or not your freedom to decide how to act was diminished by outside pressures, or whether you are looking for excuses.

Perhaps a look at the gravity of the perceived evil you were trying to avoid would help. A gun to the head is very grave, and would surely diminish one’s capacity to decide freely. Fear of losing one’s job - pretty serious, but could be mitigated by trust in God. Momentary embarrassment…not so much.
