Hey did anyone in here attend the Fullness of Faith conference in Corpus Christi, TX?
If so, what were your thoughts on the entire experience? Who were your favorite speakers?
Speakers at the Conference:
Fr. John Corapi
Fr. Mitch Pacwa
Tim Staples
Rosalind Moss ← supposed to come, but unfortunately couldn’t make it
They were all really great speakers… I enjoyed them all and they definitely made the weekend well worth it. Father Corapi did a long series of talks on the Power of the Eucharist and Father Pacwa did a series of talks on Islam and the Quran. Tim Staples did very good talks, too, incorporating a lot of humor along with them.
I can’t wait til they come back again next year, and this time the conference will be held at the American Bank Center in town, which facilitates WAY more people than the Ramada downtown, where it was this year.
There was Holy Hour at the end of the day, which I heard was really beautiful… I couldn’t stay cause I was so tired and couldn’t concentrate since I came straight from work.
Again, I can’t wait til next year’s conference. Corpus Christi has been aching for a huge Catholic conference… it used to be that this conference was only offered in Houston, which I never got a chance to go and see since it was a ways away. There were a lot of people there at this years conference; they’re hoping for at least 10,000 next year. I’m just spreading the word! It’s supposed to go on in March - April of next year, so be on the lookout for future announcements!
