I need your suggestions! Our eldest child just joined FOCUS missions as a full-time VOLUNTEER missionary for 2 years (ie…he must raise funds for his own salary). FOCUS send young missionaries to 100 US college campuses to share the Faith with these students during these formative years. We live in a sparsely populated, rural Diocese with high numbers of immigrant parishioners and fairly low socio-economic conditions, so our local Churches/parishioners have very few $$ to spare. Any suggestions for patron saints, novenas, etc. that we, as parents, can research to help him as he seeks financial sponsors for this Mission? Does a Church organization or other group(s) provide sponsorship for Catholic mission work that he should contact? Finally, we appreciate any and all prayers on his behalf during this Mission. Thanks!
