We know that the current world is full of adversities - human beings should slaughter plants and animals to feed themselves, the lions should prey other animals, the bacteria should infect the host to survive, then virus mutations are unstoppable - they just happen because of physics and chemistry.

But the Bible says that the New Heaven will be not just spiritual but embodied, physical. E.g. no lion will cause suffering to other animals, no human being will compete with other human beings for job and food (until the other one is impoverished and put into exploitation). And all this will happen in physical, embodied world?

Are there any theories, academic work, theological perspectives on the physics, chemistry, information theory, biology of such world? Will evolution be stopped? How the lions will survive?

I guess, that such speculations up to now have been purely theoretical.

But now there is transhumanist movement and we can transform it into wider movement - no just overcome the limitations of just human species, but to overcome limitations and the suffering of all nature? From tranhumanism to transnature?

What I mean? We have almost deciphered the chemistry of life (artificial life and synthetic biology are applied fields: Artificial Life | MIT Press and Synthetic Biology | Oxford Academic), there is not fundamental limits for complete deciphering, current omics etc. Withing next few years the intelligence and consciousness will have been deciphered (e.g. https://www.worldscientific.com/worldscinet/jaic). We have complex system science. We have anti-aging and rejuvenation science Turning back time with emerging rejuvenation strategies | Nature Cell Biology) - so, the death is not inevitable, it is not factor.

Up to now 2 issues determined why suffering and death were inevitable:
  • evolution created new and better organisms, so, the death was required to get rid of bad organisms. But if organisms can remodel themselves (e.g. by gene therapy or by technological augmentation), then there is no need for death: organisms can evolve themselves;
  • fight between the different species, different ideas were inevitable, because this fight determined the emergence of the fittest ideas and fittest species. Now it is different. Organisms can do mathematical modelling and determine the value of ideas or remodeling paths. So, there is no need for trial-error and subsequent sufferings, there is no need for actual fight if the value can be determined by the mathematical modelling.
What I want to say - current level of science and technology allows to spark idea about the world in which there is no fight, suffering and death. That is quite remote, but that is possible, there are no fundamental limits of Science for that.

… continued question:

So - from the one side there is theology of embodied Heaven. From the other side there is transnature movement: physics/chemistry/biology for the world without suffering and death.

Can we connect those two embodied worlds? Embodied Heaven and (trans)human upgraded nature? Can the theology of embodied Heaven guide us towards the trans-nature?

I have no problem to die and go to our Father. But - as we live - I don’t want to experience suffering nor I don’t want that other experience suffering, that is why I am going for the best. And the embodied Heaven is the best and so - we should try to achieve embodied Heaven here on the earth. Just try! And so - theology of embodied Heaven can guide us!

So - what is the theology of embodied haven?

The “New Heaven and the New Earth” promised in the Book of Revelation cannot come about through “science”.
It is through GOD who transforms or recreated the Universe anew without sin in it. But even though sin is not present free will is still preserved.
The humans that will enjoy this new existence will do solely by the grace of GOD. HE will sustain them. This is why there will be no need to eat for example. So no need to forage plants or kill animals for food.
By postulating that this could be achievable by our own power (science) it is denying the truth and the logic that this Universe that we live in has a limited lifespan.
Once all the energy within it is transformed, it will be dead. No life will be possible within it. And this is science…
Peace!

I just wanted to correct the path my this discussion - it is heading in the wrong direction.
  1. I am not afraid of the eschatology. If God at some time chooses to come after World, then it is fine, I have no attachment to this world and I am not afraid to loose everything for the New Heaven and New Earth. I am also aware: even if we, the People, manage to establish new Earth on the Earth using the Physical laws of this Universe and the Multiverses surrounding it, even then the God can come after People and incite sufferings as He has promised in the Bible. What I am trying to do is - not to sit idle and experience suffering of myself, of neigbours and of Nature and instead - doing everything possible to avoid suffering and death. Yes, we can fail in this task, Humanity has failed this task for thousands of years, but at least - we should try and go forward - step by step. What is the ultimate path of our Earthly existence? It is Heaven. But to live on this earth we must do everything possible to survive - with least suffering for us, out neighbours and Nature. So - one can deduce that the ultimate Earthly goal of survival is the establishment of New Earth. It is not goal per se, it is just the ultimate Earthly goal of our existence here on Earth. We are not wandering our Earth without mundane goals and plans. So - New Earth is just such plan for those, who know the most in Science and technology and can guide other people. So - I am arguing against sitting idle and doing nothing in this Earth. God is not expecting that we are in waiting-and-doing-nothing-mode, we are called to action. That is the perspective of my question.
  2. This perspective also answers the argument against the Entropic death of Universe. First answer: it may be true that current Universe can experience this (there is strong arguments for it), but we can have number of Multiverses around it (e.g. Emergence of multiverse in third quantized varying constants cosmologies - The European Physical Journal C and there are some other articles in the top physics journals about multiverses - nothing established yet, but as usually - scientists are trying to push boundaries and not to sit idle), but we don’t know and we have hope that we can prolong our existence by moving to other Multiverse or by getting energy from them. As I said - it may be just temporary solution and this solution can be brought to abrupt and miraculous end by the God. But still - it is the thing that we can at least hope to do. The Second Answer - I never intended this to replace the God’s New Earth, so, if the solution is temporary, it is just fine.

The humans that will enjoy this new existence will do solely by the grace of GOD.

HE will sustain them. This is why there will be no need to eat for example. So no need to forage plants or kill animals for food.
This is the Core of my question - this New Earth will have physical embodiment - it can be 1) the physics and biology just as it is in this Universe at this moment; 2) the physics as in this Universe but at different time (Cosmological constants having different values); 3) the physics of other existing Multiverse; 4) the New Physics as predictable by the math, e.g. by the Combinatorics of Wolfram (Visual Summary of the Wolfram Physics Projects). But some kind of physics it will be! So - my question was - what do we know about such physics, can we propose the possible laws of such physics (e.g. explore the win-win formal games in game theory) and can we implement such physics on the Earth/Universe/Multiverse?

Well IF GOD is in control of this Universe and all possible Multiverses that can exist what is the point of worrying about it.
The GOD we worship is not a being that inhabits THIS Universe.
HE created it. And by extension IF there are any other possible Universes in the Multiverse theory. HE created them also. Since we are assured what our destiny is why fret about it?
GOD created the Universe for us to explore NOT so, that we could replace HIM with “science”, rather that we should marvel at HIM and love HIM more for it.
Remember all the science has ever done, is to discover the principles and laws that GOD placed there, in the first place. Just saying.

Peace!

I find all you have talked about quite interesting, however, unless we are able to totally get rid of sin, a future utopia isn’t possible. We are not meant to stay here. We are meant for Heaven. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to make things better while we are here but we shouldn’t plan on being able to stay here.

The problem I see is that man is trying to create a system that will allow him to live forever without God. That just isn’t possible.
