As I was remembering my childhood I thought back to when kids used to play this game (forgot the actual name). Many people on these forums are likely going through hard times right now. So what better way to balance the burdens than to play a game!

Rules
The rules are simple; I will start with a word, and the next poster will continue the dialogue. There is a 10 word limit for this, so budget your words wisely! Pay close attention to the surrounding atmosphere to make sure your posts don’t overlap with another’s. In the event of a clash, the post with the most likes will take priority. Once the word limit is reached, the last person to post will get to assign a new word to use, and the cycle will repeat. Expl!cit language, flaming, and trolling are forbidden, so think carefully before posting!

Example
Person A: Joe went to collect groceries at his favorite store

Person B: Joe went to collect groceries at his favorite store as he always does

Person C: Joe went to collect groceries at his favorite store as he always does. Going out to FreeMart is a longtime tradition of his.

etc.

Reminder
Make sure that each response is 10 words or less!

Start!
This game’s first word is: “Jesus”.

(Good luck!)

(Disclaimer: The words are supposed to follow the word haha 😃 , but let’s keep it moving)

“O my Jesus forgive us our sins”: This prayer was always close to Bob’s heart in youth.

Hi @TheNeutral,

I’m really sorry, but I have no idea what this game is supposed to be about?

When someone puts a new game up in the forum for everyone else to play, they’ll usually also post a couple of examples in their post too of how the game is supposed to be played too, so that the other members can then pick up the idea of the game, so that they can then play along. 🙂

Can you please post an example or two of how we’re supposed to play this game? Thank you. 🙂

God bless you!

Thank you! I appreciate you going back and explaining how the game works.

We had a story thread game that was similar to your game on the old forum, except we had a five word story thread, and a three word story thread.

Those were a lot of fun, and really very funny too, as you never knew what direction the stories would take. 🙂

Ok I will give it another go.

Jesus said “Peter do you love me?”

Jesus said “Peter do you love me?” to which the Disciple replied “Yes, Lord”, the Teacher said.
