I wonder if one of the things that Christians these days have ignored is the art of satire. With this in mind, here is a lovely parody of the gather hymnal.

I actually really like the Latin version of Gather Us In and can see myself singing it … (having studied Latin in high school and continuing on as a language major in college, that’s a distinct possibility).

I do not ignore satire, but rather do not respect it as an art. I consider it to be unseemly, especially when directed at our own family.

Ha ha. That man’s pronunciation is horrible!

**Edited: **On second thought the pronunciation is not so horrible, but I guess forcing the translation onto the rhythm makes it horrible.
