In the Hebrew there are four words in Genesis 2. How is it that we have more than ten in our Engish translations?

I know little Hebrew and Greek, so be aware of that, thanks!!!

I have another question, and again I know little Hebrew.

I have been told that Hebrew has no numbers (I do not know if that is true or false).

When the “first” day is recorded “'echad” is used in the Hebrew. My dictionary gives a many listings for that word. Many of the listings deal with numbers.

Are there numbers in Hebrew?

If there are not, please explain the numbering in the Creation Account of Genesis chapter one?

Thanks!!!
