We enjoyed this interesting movie about a man named Paul, who learned Tuvan throat singing and went to Tuva to compete in a throat singing competition. Paul is a blind blues singer from San Fransisco who started learning about this throat singing after listening to a shortwave radio from the USSR. Tuva is an area in Central Asia, just north of Mongolia, currently a part of the Russian Federation.
It’s a very interesting documentary, good for the whole family. Paul uses the F word twice, in casual speech, but other than that the whole movie is appropriate.
