For those brandishing the term “mortal sin”, I would urge you to take a step back and approach this situation with a little more gentleness. We are talking about a minor who is taken to a Lutheran service by his parents. I myself was obliged by my parents to continue attending Protestant services even after I had firmly resolved to be received into the Catholic Church - at least until I was 18.
To the OP: Is it possible that your bishop gave you a dispensation to ATTEND the Lutheran services with your family, rather than mass, and you took that to mean also receiving Lutheran communion? Catholic canon law is clear on this point - you cannot receive communion at Protestant services.
