Genuine Agnus Dei Sacremental

Hello,
I was given an Agnus Dei locket as a gift.After a little research online I have come to question its authenticity. Does anyone know if there is a way to verify that it is a true Agnus Dei
 
like most ephemera, only by provenance, ie, tracing who owned it and where the original owner got it.

Can you clarify a bit so I can do a google search? As of right now it simply looks like you’re asking if your locket is a true Lamb of God, in which case I can only answer no, that Christ is the only true Lamb of God… 😛
 
the question is clear.These sacrementals were supposedly blessed by popes only, during the first year of thier pontificate and every seven years therafter, obviously the “Lamb of God” is Jesus and I know that. They are said to contain the blessed wax of the Paschal candle.
