Climate change is the biggest load of horse manure that’s ever been foisted onto people.

There is a definite need to be good stewards of the planet, but this agenda is focused on funneling wealth from western nations to developing ones under the guise of helping the planet, it’s deceitful and wrong.

OK, I’ve GOT to send this to our German Friend Bruno.

Climate change is real, the planet definitly seems to be getting hotter. However, it seems to be doing so in accordance with previous trends of heating. We flourished at the end of an ice-age, and we’re coming out of that ice age now.

The big question is whether or not humanity is having a drastic impact on the rate of heating.

I do agree with you though, about it being used to redistribute wealth. If people only focused on making improvements to help the planet then I’d be all for it, but it’s become one of the new social dogmas, the secular religion of population control…

I don’t dispute that the climate can change, I don’t even dispute humans may have an impact on it. What I dispute is that the climate change agenda as pushed by global leadership and the accords that are supposed to “combat” the climate change are in fact geared towards doing so. I’m referring to “climate change” as the political issue, not the scientific.

It’s not just that. Most of their other solutions do not work. It’s just a way for Catholics to not do results-oriented good works and virtue-signal to their “friends” that they aren’t First World right wing and therefore can serve both God and mammon.

Then you and I agree completely. ^^ The science might be real, but the politics are a scam.

It’s more nuanced. Of course, the climate changes. It has to just based on Continental Drift Theory. The problem is that people use false methodology to advance an agenda.

Not a scam, just a bit of hypocrisy.
It’s neither scam nor hypocrisy. Germany went all out to turn to renewable energy, yet, despite having the highest costs in Europe for electricity, and the expenditure of about one trillion dollars, they simply couldn’t generate the energy they need any other way.

The hypocrisy is that they are attacking other countries for not doing something they themselves couldn’t do.

Yep. And yet, the left have done such a great job of it, that even the Holy See has fallen for it. Some of the things I hear coming from Rome sounds just like what you’d hear coming from Gore or DiCaprio and the like. Very disconcerting!

Yes it looks like the Germans forgot there is a difference between energy sources reliably available 24x7 versus those that are not.

Yes. Very sad that the Holy Father has embraced global warming and hath pontificated on this scientific issue. Bad for the papacy and bad for the Church.

Hi Harry,

Ja, dumme Wissenshaft über alles. the whole Energiewende has been and will continue to be a disaster for Germany. If they were true to their principles they wouldn’t have ditched nuclear, thus their continued reliance on the unjustifiably hated coal. Dumm!

The same people who marketed the ‘clean’ TDI diesel engine?

It seems their marketing is oft different than the actual product.
