Getting confirmed on Sunday!

Meeting with Sister tomorrow…

I don’t know if I get to choose a Saint name, but if so, I’m considering Saint Cecelia for her love of music and devotion to God, or Saint Adele for her love of family and those wishing for children.

But

My first and second names are already saint’s names so perhaps I won’t be getting a third? I have Elizabeth and Anne already!
 
You can have a third patron looking after you if you wish. It used to be that all Christian names Catholics used were saints’ name. It never prevented them from choosing another as Confirmation patron. I myself have three, first, second and Confirmation names are of different saints.🙂

Hey, it’s Sunday!

Congratulations on the Confirmation. 🙂

I was just confirmed this past September as well. My first birth two names are Sarah Elizabeth, but I chose, as my saint, St. Joan of Arc. I have always, always admired her.

Anyways, congrats again!
 
Well, I’m back home-it was an amazing day. Father was so great, I had tears in my eyes during the ceremony:blush:

The homily was awesome-he spoke about not taking absolution and confession for granted, about how we have so much to be thankful for…it was so good, it felt like people wanted to clap at the end!

Now on to Easter!🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
