My girlfriend was married in the Catholic Church and has since been divorced. If we wanted to get married in a Catholic Church, would we be able too? Please advise. Thanks!
Your girlfriend would need an annulment first. A civil divorce doesn’t affect her married status in the eyes of God and the Church. I would get on that right away, I’ve heard that the annulment process can take a while to go through.
