I have been going through my things today. I want to get rid of my King James Bible and other Anglican prayer books. If I take them to Good Will, I feel like I would be promoting the Anglican Church, which I do not want to do. Should I just throw them away?

I would donate them. I am always looking for Bibles to give people coming back to the faith. They start with an older one, then go out and get a newer one. I myself have a very old set of the Liturgy of the Hours, the Priests of the Diocese gave them to me rather then discarding them.

You could write in pencil the parts that are wrong with an asterisk leading to a footnote, “The Roman Catholic faith has more accuracy on this.”

The wording of the Scriptures should be the same - the differences would show in foot notes or explanations.
