I work in a Christian Church as a sexton, and sometimes share my thoughts with the pastor about the upcoming readings. She asked if I would like to give the sermon at one of the services. I did decline as I felt uncertain about this! Is it okay for a Catholic to give a sermon in a Christian Church? (If it makes a difference: I’m a woman!) I, of course, would still attend Mass in the Maronite Catholic Church!

I myself would be a little leery of going so far as to participate in the service of a non-Catholic church, but given that everybody is so open to ecumenism these days, this might just be my hang-up. I would suggest that you speak to your pastor and see what he thinks.

If I was somehow allowed to do this by my pastor, I would only do it if it was permitted for me to announce myself as a Catholic and of course not preach anything that went against Catholic teaching. I would not want to give the false impression that I was a member of the non-Catholic church. I know there are a lot of things one can say about Scripture that are pretty universal truths shared by many if not all Christian churches including Catholic.

“I’m deeply grateful to Pastor X for kindly inviting me, as a Catholic, to preach the sermon here today …”

Sounds all right to me.

And then bounce it off the local priest if this helps you evanglize the other Christians.
