The Monsignor gave no strong rebuff against Fr. Rob. He thinks what Father’s doing is OK, although the Protestants should have it made clear to them.
But I’ve talked with another - a Roman Catholic - priest. And he seems to think one has to make pastoral decisions as well…
And I’m also beginning to wonder if canon law should be changed…
