Over last weekend, i.e. Good Friday and Holy Saturday I felt very ill. I asked someone to pray for me. They carried out a novena, which lasted for nine hours. I feel much better now:)

So… Thank you Jesus!!!

Here is the novena, which should be said for every hour, for nine hours:

Powerful Novena of Childlike Confidence

O Jesus, Who hast said, ask and you shall recieve, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you, through the intercession of Mary, Thy Most Holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayers be granted.

O Jesus, Who hast said, all that you ask of the Father In My Name, He will grant you through the intercession of Mary, Thy Most Holy Mother, I Humbly and urgently ask Thy Father in Thy Name that my prayers will be granted.

O Jesus, Who hast said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away but My word shall not pass”,through the intercession of Mary, Thy Most Holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted.

Wonderful news! 🙂

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 135 (136)
A paschal hymn

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his love is for ever.
Give thanks to the God of gods,
for his love is for ever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his love is for ever.

He alone works wonders,
for his love is for ever.
In his wisdom he made the heavens,
for his love is for ever.
He set the Earth upon the waters,
for his love is for ever.
He created the great lights,
for his love is for ever.
The sun, to rule over the day,
for his love is for ever.
The moon and stars, to rule over the night,
for his love is for ever.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Glad to hear that your prayers have been answered and that you are feeling much better. I am still praying though that you keep well.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful novena!

Glad to hear you are better!

God Bless!

Giving thanks you are feeling better…and thank you for sharing the novena…Deo Gratius:signofcross:
