I know that for those things which you give up on Lent (whatever that may be) we should not be abstaining from those things on Sundays. Are there any other days that are admissible? Somebody at work brought up that Feast days could also be looked at in that regard. Thoughts? Any help with sources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and be safe out there.

To my knowledge, there’s no formal requirement to suspend Lenten sacrifices on Sundays and Solemnities, nor are we require to continue them on those days. 🤔

If I give up cussing for Lent, I would think it would be better to stick to that every day rather than taking a break from it on Sundays and Solemnities 🙂

Sundays are “Sundays of Lent”. Our sacrifices are voluntary, you can skip them on Saturday or alternate Tuesdays or sacrifice only on Thursday.
