Giving Up The Internet For Lent

I’m only going to use E-mail, and I’m restricting that to only school-related, mom-related, or vocation director-related. The one place that it will be hardest to stay away from is here, because I actually can justify being here as opposed to the other places on the internet that I waste my time. But, I’ve prayed about this and it’s necessary. So I’ll miss all of you, and Catholic Answers. If the forums start working for me again (they were acting up for awhile) then I may post some more before Ash Wednesday, but after that, adios and God Bless.

This is really the only place I visit…would be cutting of my nose to spite my face… I’m learning far too much about the Faith here to give up CA for Lent…though I will admit that I’ve been consdering cutting my time down to…maybe checking in once a day instead of SEVERAL!!!

I’m giving it up also. Starting Feb 9th, the 'net will be strictly for school-related use only. And I’ll have to sign in to Hotmail once, in order to keep my account. (Cuz of their wacky 30-day limit… )

But giving up this forum will be harsh… I do learn something new about our Faith every day, but it takes up WAY too much time (and all I do is lurk!). Time I could be using for prayer or schoolwork or even just tidying up my room! Actually, I’ll probably feel less tired also, because I’ll be getting a full night’s sleep instead of something like 4 hours…

Oh, the help we will need…
