Gluttony doesn’t always pertain to food but obviously in this case it does. Yes, people need to wake up and realize gluttony is still a sin. When you become so focused on anything in life that you become addicted to it, whether its food, alcohol, sex, gambling whatever, it becomes your false god. If your thinking about it constantly, your next meal, your next hit, your next score, your next encounter then your obviously not putting God or your family or friends first, second, and third in your life.

I too am a “comfort food” person.
I also know how to stop eating - when the jeans are tight, I ate too much of the wrong thing and walked too little.
I swear, EVERYTHING these days is a disease. No one is ever responsible anymore - it’s always the “disease” of _________ fill in the blank.
It gets old.
