No, not exactly.
To say simply that God = existence runs close to implying the false doctrine of panentheism (everything taht exists is God) although everything that exists, exists in and through God, and it is only in Him that it (and we) exist.
YHWH more literally I believe means “I am Who am”. Emphasising that God is real unlike all false “gods”.

Contingent natures do not have their own intrinsic act of existence. A contingent being is an essence conjoined with the act of existence, and even then existence and essence remain logically distinct and are never the same thing. The act of existence is God.

In Him we live in Him we move and in Him we have our being. 
Everything in existence is held together by God. So in a way God equals existence but not everything is God, everything is held together by God’s will. All He has to do is think it and everything will disappear and cease to exist if He wanted to. Without God nothing can or will exist.

God is his own existence. He depends on nothing else for his existence.
Which doesn’t mean that all that exists is God. There is no logical argument to reach that conclusion. There could be other things besides God.
We have existence because of something else, and would vanish without God’s continuous support, but God would still be here.

nope God is the perfection of existence, we aren’t the perfection of existence meaning God isn’t like a pantheistic God.
plus a problem with Pantheism is that the world must exist for God to exist and that would make it impossible for anything to exist God is infinite the world is finite therefore panentheism is absurd.

Yes, I think that it’s correct. God by definition is the Self-existent One; the opposite of God is therefore non-existence. And so when atheists ask that familiar question about who or what created God, they are actually asking who or what created existence. Romans 1:20 says, “ever since the creation of the world, the invisible existence of God and his everlasting power have been clearly seen by the mind’s understanding of created things. And so these people have no excuse.”
