He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Freely liberated from the curse of the law. Consider, this week, the excitement of living for the one True God without the bondage of slavery holding you down. True Christians know no bondage of slavery nor of law - it’s instead a willing bondage of loving obedience, imitative of Christ who with no need was circumcised, baptised, suffered and died in order to ‘fulfil all righteousness’ as He told John, and also an implicit trust in Christ’s promises to guide us through His Holy Spirit and His Bride and Body, the Catholic Church.
