God is forgiving, all loving, and all good.
There are good people that not only sin, but that are victims of circumstance and are unable to see the light of God for many reasons. They are angry, they are hurt, they are depressed, they are misguided, they are miseducated, they are indoctrinated, they are turned away. They simply aren’t given the same opportunity to see God that other people are. But are these people evil? Do they deserve eternal torment? Now, if you spoke to one of them, if you looked at their life, and they did nothing but good; if they saved the helpless, or even just brightened the days of those around them, do you think they deserve eternal torment? Could you look them in the eyes, those human eyes made by God just like yours, and tell them they deserve eternal torment? Even if afterward they would just smile at you and forgive you faster than some would forgive them? Would God do that, would a forgiving, all good, all loving God recognize the uneven circumstance and the unfortunate path they were human enough to follow, and sentence them to never getting to love him or be loved by him? Now, there are people that go home and hurt those around them, still forgiven every chance they can be, and they abuse their Christianity as if it is some badge or stage that makes them better and above everyone around them, or even if they are just rude and nasty and give nothing to anyone they don’t deem worthy of it. And these Christians are everywhere, go to any church and you will see floods of them. Nice in the House of God but giving nothing elsewhere. The self-righteous. All these people are rewarded and the good-yet-misguided are sentenced? Without ever an opportunity for even understanding? We create heaven and hell by separating the good humans from the evil humans. There is no defining factor of a good or evil human. Tell me there is and I will prove you wrong. Now, this is a lot of negativity and possible “sacrilege”, so let me get to the good stuff.

God is forgiving.
God knows.
God is above anything.
Does that sound sacrilegious?
God is above law.

God is above scripture.

God is above anything and everything.

If you do not believe that God is above scripture then you do not understand what Christianity is about.
If God is not above scripture, then either God is beneath scripture, or scripture is God.

Now do not only believe this but practice this. Read the Bible and question, does what I’m reading defy the definition of God? It might. There are moments where it will.
The Bible is wrong when it defies the definition of God. And don’t tell me it never does.

Believe in God above everything.

People would quicker question God than question scripture. I’ve seen it, time and time again. So often. People intertwine the two as if they are the same. “If God is all-loving then why did he do this (in the Bible)?” “If God is good then why does he do this (in the Bible)?” Do you hear? It’s as if every word in the Bible is Christian fact and God is the concept to mould and bend around it.

Welcome to the forum. Usually the Op will open with a question for discussion. Since you just gave a lengthy explanation of your personal beliefs I wouldn’t expect to many responses. The ones who might engage will probably challenge some of your views. Try to respond in a charitable manner and remember the TOS for the forum. God bless.

Welcome to the forum.

You’ve got a lot going on here usually people start multiple threads. I’ll try my best to give some insight on some of the things you brought up.
…aren’t given the same opportunity to see God that other people are… Do they deserve eternal torment?
We don’t know. Only God can judge someone’s heart. One of my favorite Bible verses helps me come to terms with this…
Luke 12:48 To whom much is given, of him will much be required; and of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more.
I believe God judges us where we are. If these people aren’t given the same opportunity to see God then less will be required of them.
… they did nothing but good… saved the helpless… and tell them they deserve eternal torment? …they would just smile at you…
It appears to me that you are kind of “changing the rules” here. This doesn’t sound like the same angry, hurt, depressed and misguided person you spoke of above. People who are truly angry, hurt and depressed don’t have the strength or energy to get out there and do good, save people or forgive people.

This article might give you some insight.
… hurt those around them, still forgiven… abuse their Christianity …they are just rude and nasty and give nothing to anyone…these Christians are everywhere
I can’t speak for what other Christian’s teach but I think you might be a little confused about what the Catholic Church actually teaches. The Church believes the Apostles and successors where given the authority to forgive and retain sins. If this abusive person repeatedly ends up in confession the Priest has the obligation to retain that man’s sin until he turns his life around. Part of our confession is desiring to sin no more.
The self-righteous…are rewarded…
Personally, I believe in many cases it is the exact opposite. Like I said God judges our hearts. I highly doubt a self righteous person’s heart is in the right place to be “rewarded”. This is what we would call the sin of presumption.
Matthew 7:21 “Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
There is no defining factor of a good or evil human. Tell me there is and I will prove you wrong.
Not touching this one. This is a thread by itself. Here’s some links.

This one too. Maybe try this book.

God Bless
