1 – Why should god have any rights over people who are supposed to have free will, irrespective of whether he created them?
Just two questions (found in the disco thread here) that I found I couldn’t answer outside of the Scriptural framework.2 – If god assumes those rights to punish people who don’t do what they’re told (as interpreted by [Christianity]), how does that make him morally different from the world’s worst mass-murdering dictators?
They are silly questions, IMO, but I don’t know how to explain it philosophically.
Any thoughts?
