But I love my Family so much. I’m 14 turning to be 15 on November 25. Since I love my Family so much. I don’t really care not having a relationship. Being a Priest is fine for me but theres a but. I’m afraid I have to leave my family. Like I’m gonna live in one school. I want to be a Politician.
I have questions, because I’m so scared right now that I might leave my family just for being a Priest for 10 years…

A). Does learning to be a Politician in College have to leave your Family too?
B.) Do I have live in the school just to learn to be a Priest
C.) Do I have to leave my family just to follow God’s will?
  • Can I do visits to my family twice a month just for me to see them and not worry alot…
I’m afraid on God’s will for me, “Lord my God not this way anything but this…” I kept saying this when I started to know God’s will for me.

You are too young to leave your family. Don’t worry about that for a few years. This world, including your family, needs priests a lot more than politicians. If you are to be a politician, strive to become a faithful Catholic one.

You’re very young. It’s normal to be confused about this stuff at your age, and be interested in different things. It’s also normal for you to be nervous about living on your own at your age.

When you’re an adult moving away won’t be nearly as scary and you’ll probably have more clarity on what you should pursue. Just relax. You don’t have to make any decisions now.

You are really too young to be thinking seriously on this. Not to scare you but anything you do in the world involves leaving your family, even being a politician, but as you grow older that doesnt seem as scary as you become prepared for it and you generally do it in small doses, little by little. God will help you do whatever His will is for you. You can possibly do both political things and be a priest, look at the saints like Oscar Romero and Pope John Paul II, but also you can study first before entering a seminary or you could think about missionary work. But for now just relax and live your faith as well as you can, don’t worry, trust everything to God. Pray and let God lead you. He loves you more than you can imagine and His grace will always be enough for you. Read the gospels all the answers are there. God bless you

Honestly, I think he is too young for proper discernment.
Dear OP, congratulation to you for having such a lovely family you fear to leave. It’s perfectly fine with almost 15. If it’s god’s plan for you, you’ll go this way when you are grown. If not, it’s also fine. God bless you!

OP, everyone leaves their family at some point.

Give it a couple more years, and you wont be so fearful of leaving.

In fact, the day may come when you look forward to leaving, as hard as that is for you to think about right now.

The first two years of college for a politician (political science) and a priest are the same. You have until age 20 to decide what the right path is (after you obtain an associates degree). It’s nice to keep this idea, and there is nothing wrong with practicing by praying the liturgy of the hours as a priest does. If you find it to become overwhelming or stressful making the time, you will find a limitation in your future goal.

Stay college oriented, best way to go.
