Godparent replacement or substitutes

If my godparents are no longer available due to death, immigration, change of religion, missing or just don’t care, can i find a way to replace or substitute them officially (or not) them so i can have that spiritual support they serve? Tnx

Nope. Your godparents are your godparents. You can however have other figures in your life to inspire your faith.

well… not officially no.

However, that doesn’t mean you cannot get a spiritual director and/or some spiritual mentors to provide you with the spiritual support you are lacking.
 
You can ask anyone to stand in a spiritual support capacity in your life.

Your sponsors witnessed your baptism. If they did not live up to their promises, they are still your sponsors. But you can look to others as a spiritual role model and friend.

If you are not yet confirmed, you can choose a new sponsor for confirmation.
