This is something that’s kept me wondering:
Why do Mormons try so hard? I’ve had classmates mindlessly ask me to attend their church in which I kindly declined. However, they did not quit. Most Mormons I have come in contact with were quite aggressive–verbally, of course–in the most subtle ways… if that even makes sense.
I wonder if they’ll ever get the message: When something goes around the world at least once (usually Christian denominations or a rock band), it either 1) weakens, 2) gets powerful, but too political or 3) begins to suck. They need to stop while they’re still rock solid with their faith. It happened to my fellow Catholics, it happened to the Protestants, it even happened to GreenDay! Apparently, they are trying too hard to catch up with older denominations… Or am I making an illusory correlation here?
