God's Gift for Us

We are born the way God wants us to be; meaning we have traits that we like and don’t like. I personally, don’t like my widow’s peak, and if you guys do not know what it is, it is a part of your hair that goes down and up at the hair line. I recently, actually today, plucked it. And I told my mom. She said “Why did you do that? That is God’s gift for you.” So, I started to be guiltful, and made me regret doing it. So my question is, “Is altering your appearance, such as make up, plucking your somewhat unibrow or widow’s peak, or anything for that matter, a sin?”

Using that line of reasoning, getting rid of cleft lip would also be a sin, because clearly cleft lip is a gift from God - or being born with some kind of defect, they are all gifts from God. (sarcasm)

No, there’s nothing sinful about getting rid of your widow’s peak, it’s genetic anyways and it’ll grow back, it’s just a hair-cut really, if you feel better and more confident without it, then trim it or cut it or whatever you feel is best.

I am just surprised at the amount of times these kinds of questions are posed, what’s next, will sneezing anger God?
