God's Holy Name Used Irreverantly?

Would it be considered irreverant to call God ‘The Man Upstairs’ or other …umm nicknames?

I heard a song say this and I wondered about it.
 
In general I don’t think it’s a problem, though I suppose there may be some situation where it would be. I’ve heard people refer, for example, to “The Big Guy” and I think it’s fine. (“I don’t think The Big Guy would be happy if I did that.”)
 
It depends on the context, I suppose, and what one is saying about “The big Guy upstairs”. 🤷

At least they’re acknowledging that he’s up there. 😉
